Catherine Spalding Center For Women and Children hosted a five day workshop for the National Domestic Workers — female children who work part-time and study part-time.  Thirty-two participants were part of the workshop which was guided and directed by Sister Florice, ICM. The workshop was held from Oct. 17–21 and each participant received a certificate stating their performance.

The participants ranged between the ages of 10–16 and are from the poorer areas of Ranchi where our field workers visit 14 sites to hold programs.

During the Summer and Puja holidays regular programs are held to develop their competencies.  These holidays will host two programs — one for dance and the other for herbal training. At the end of five days the participants put on a spectacular program for all SCNs/CMC and other residents of Nazareth Convent. The SCNs on the way to retreat enjoyed the rehearsal day program.
