Volunteers helping others in Appalachia

This week was spent preparing and painting the home of Linda and Donnie Creech. A very humble and lovely couple, who’s home is nestled in the mountain area of Lee County, Kentucky. Donnie suffers from a heart condition and is the on the job supervisor. His wife Linda spends most of her time cooking, cleaning and crocheting blankets for the winter.

Several members of the Legacy Youth Group from Marian County, Kentucky, joined Sister Luke Boiarski in traveling to Beattyville, Kentucky, for a volunteer experience in the Appalachia area. They are working in conjunction with Kentucky Cornerstone Ministry. Upon arrival, they were warmly greeted by Ms. Dora Ross, the founder and director of Kentucky Cornerstone Ministry. Please keep these volunteers in your prayers.
