Sister Luke visited Lexington Catholic High School and did a presentation on the SCN Lay Mission Volunteer Program. The sophomore class under the leadership of Esther Breeding would like to become involved in this exciting ministry. Plans are now in the making for trips to Appalachia and Belize City.
Julie Kelly, a teacher at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Regional Catholic School, invited Sister Luke to do a presentation to the students. Sister Luke spoke to them about the life of Mother Catherine and where the SCN’s serve in ministry today.
On Halloween, all kindergarten students will dress up in their Halloween costumes and go trick or treating in the classrooms for change. All donations collected will be donated to the SCN ministries.
Thanks Lukie. Your talents and warmth are such a blessing to soooo many.
Thank you, Luke, for touching this untapped resource. What an eye-opening experience this can be for these young people.
Great to keep the SCN tradition alive in Lexington!
