Vocation Camp in Delhi: SCNs, Asunta Rose Kujur, Cassilda Castell, and Nirmala Mulackal met with the young women gathered for the vocation camp organized by the Archdiocese of Delhi on the occasion of Vocation Day on Jan. 11. All the religious congregations of the Diocese were invited to participate.

Most Rev. Anil Couto, Archbishop along with former vicar general, Fr. Victor D’Souza and other priests concelebrated the Eucharist. Bishop Anil gave a very touching message to the youth gathered about God’s call to each one and one’s responsibility to respond. After Mass and a few action songs led by the young priests and seminarians each Congregation was requested to be at their booth as the girls went around picking up brochures and visiting with the nuns. Through a PowerPoint presentation, brochures and posters we highlighted our Mission and Vision statements and our ministries for the girls. Five minutes was allotted to each Congregation for presentation.

Fr. Victor said, “If five girls and five boys would surrender their lives to God in any Congregation or religious order the day would prove to be a big success.” We hope and pray that some of the youth present would be inspired and respond to God’s call.
