Vincentian Home Sneak Peek

Vincentian Home in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Jan. 14, 2014, showcased several newly renovated areas of the senior care community.

The event showed off Vincentian’s new memory care community, rehabilitation facility, Julia’s Place of Beauty, and country-kitchen restaurant style dining areas.

Vincentian Collaborative System CEO Ray Washburn explained that the new memory care community is designed to immerse residents in art and décor that calls to mind memories from their 20s — around the time they fell in love. Research shows that this helps people be less confused and more confident in their surroundings. Vincentian is one of the first senior care communities in the world to take this approach to memory care.
