On Monday, Vincentian Academy in Pittsburgh opened its doors for the first day of school. Founded in 1932 by the Vincentian Sisters of Charity, Vincentian Academy will celebrate it’s 85th anniversary this school year!
Principal Rita Canton said, “We are excited. We’ve given the building a considerable face lift, totally new computer room from top to bottom. We also painted five classrooms, added a salad bar in the cafeteria and renovating the cafeteria. We’ve really spruced up the buildings. The students that have stopped by this summer are really impressed with the work.”
