On February 26, Presentation Students and Sisters Amina Bejos, Edna Fabre and Susan Kilb organized and participated in a vigil for immigrants and refugees in front of Presentation Academy. With the group was Fr. Jim Flynn who has been advocating for immigrants and refugees for a long time. On this day, Catholics were invited to call their federal legislators urging them to pass bipartisan legislation that would allow DREAMers a pathway to citizenship without harming family unity before a day of civil disobedience and presence by Catholic leaders in Washington, D.C.
So proud and grateful for your witness on behalf of our immigrant and refugee brothers and sisters!
Great! That poster is good…helping us remember that the Holy Family had to migrate! So glad you marched for the cause!!
