The SCN Volunteer Program helped with the house and property renovation of Bethany Haven, a local transitional shelter for women and families. They recently purchased the property near their facility to be used for a men’s shelter that is in need of major repairs. Sisters of Charity of Nazareth volunteers along with businesses, churches, and individuals are donating their services to help with the upgrade.

Ellen Sprigg, associate director of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Lay Mission Volunteer Program shared the following about the project, “What a blessing it has been for our Sisters of Charity of Nazareth volunteers to have been a part of the Bethany Haven Renovation Project for a new men’s shelter in the Bardstown, Kentucky, community. This mission is one where we will see the fruits of our labors for many years to come.”
Harbor Haven looks beautiful! I know the men who will live there are grateful for such a lovely place to call “home” as they wait for their permanent homes! Thank you. Blessings on the work of so many hands!
Great work!! Many thanks!!

WOW! What a team. Blessings for all you have done for Bardstown, Nelson County, and Harbour House/Bethany Haven; and all in the name of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. We all are blessed to have you as a part of our SCN family of friends.
So proud of our volunteers who gave so much of their time and energy these past couple of weeks assisting with this project.
