VCS employees donate winter items

Led by LaVerne Sihelnik, SCN, Vincentian Collaborative System (VCS) employees recently collected seven boxes of gloves, hats, scarves, socks and blankets for the

SCN Lay Mission Volunteer program.

The collected items will be distributed to those in need in Appalachia.

Sister LaVerne serves as the Vice President of Mission Integration at VCS.

Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Vincentian Collaborative System is a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. VCS serves more than 500 seniors, including independent living, personal care, memory care, and short-term rehabilitation. Vincentian also operates a charitable foundation and two child care centers.
