The Nazareth Convent School Silver Jubilee year began on 28th February 2017 on a splendid note. The ceremony began from the Primary Section with a Maharashtrian traditional dance of Lezim.

A tableau by Nazareth Primary Students depicted a flashback of the past 25 years beginning with the arrival of SCNs Mary Scaria and the Late Teresita in the year 1972 to teach at St. Augustine’s School. The SCN dream of having an institution of their own for ‘girls only’ came true shortly. Sr. Amrita SCN took charge of the Nazareth Convent School in the year 1992 when we started the school for the Junior Kinder Garten.

The Program continued with a walkathon from the Primary School to the Nazareth Convent High School, Suyog Nagar led by the School Band, the students of class VIII and IX, the senior teachers, the PTA, the Ex-students and many well-wishers. They walked with placards depicting the Silver Year theme – “Love for Humanity and the Earth”, which will be the mission throughout this Silver Jubilee year.
The work of the SCN sisters from 2003 till date was displayed by the High School Section through a tableau highlighting their journey.
The program included the unveiling of the main Logo by His Grace Arch Bishop Felix Machado, followed by a solemn Holy Eucharist concelebrated with other Priests.
