From Sister Sangeeta regarding the Kenya Exploration Team:

We were unable to communicate with you from Bungoma where we have been, from the 21st evening until yesterday. Sorry to have kept you wondering.

Yesterday evening we reached Eldoret, our second destination, after a two-hour ride by a local shuttle. Asked Fr. Vincent, the priest who is hosting us, if we could get access to the internet to send a message to you. It is kind of slow connection here so hurrying to send a message.

We have had a very enriching week in Bungoma with the Xaverian Brothers. They were just so hospitable. We were given a whole house to stay on their campus while we shared meals and community time with them, in their formation community with 7 postulants. The brothers and Bishop Norman of Bungoma were just so welcoming and hospitable.

Communicating is a challenge in the rural counties. So, if you don’t hear from us until we reach Nairobi on the 30th evening you know why.

All of us are keeping fine. Weather is very pleasant, here it is really on the cooler side. Lots of rain as well. Just want to thank you for being with us through prayers. We sense it a lot as we move around.
