Founded in 1948, Nazareth Hospital is a Catholic Institution owned and operated by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. It serves people of all backgrounds, offering preventive, promotive and curative care.

At the hospital I was able to tour the facilities and had the opportunity to meet with some of the HIV patients currently under the Sisters care.

Here at Nazareth Hospital patients receive antiviral drug treatments. The patients travel here every few months to have their health monitored and to receive treatments. They receive inpatient care for five days.

Through money received through The Global Fund, travel expenses as well as medicine and treatment is provided to the HIV patients. This serves the total person, through physical, psychological, ethical and spiritual means, all administered by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
