The state of Andhra Pradesh is in turmoil after the bifurcation of Telungana. All the schools, colleges, institutions, and Government services, such as bus and municipality, have joined the strike for Samaikyandhra. The electricity department threatens to go on strike anytime. It has been more than two months now. The strike and the demonstrations have turned violent since the Center has given their consent on bifurcation. Except for some politicians, most of the people do not want this division as it would affect their livelihood, agriculture and job opportunities. There is so much anger and disappointment and the final decision will be taken only in the winter session when the parliament meets again. Until then, what happens to the people? They are suffering as the entire state is paralyzed. Please pray…God will hear the cry of the poor.
