The ministry to migrant laborers reaches another milestone

On Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, migrant workers from six colonies assembled in the office of Migrant Outreach Service (MOS) at the Christ Hall Jesuit Training College, in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. Their purpose was to obtain labor cards. In a formal meeting attended by officials from MOS and the corporate sector, the team of collaborators of whom Sister Gracy Thombrakudy is a member, emphasized the need for a strong bondage between migrant workers and the organization. Sister Vandana Velleringattt and Rev. Immanuel, SJ, addressed the migrant laborers on the issues of their rights. On this day, 23 people received their labor cards.
