The Executive Committee Meetings Day 4
“March on. Do not tarry. To go forward is to move toward perfection. March on, and fear not the thorns, or the sharp stones on life’s path.” Khalil Gibran
Executive Committee had a busy schedule set for day 4, the first day of March.
It began with a prayer led by SCN Sheela Palamootil, Vice Provincial of Bangalore Province, and Brenda Gonzales, SCN, who chaired the day’s proceedings.
The Community matters, concerns, and trends of Bangalore Province was presented in the form of a report by the Province Leadership Team of Bangalore. The Executive committee also looked into major issues arising out of our communal reflection on the actuarial study.
In the post lunch session, the finance personnel of the Indian Provinces presented their budgets for approval. As numbers always do, they kept the members alert even after a long day.
Later in the evening, members were joined via Zoom videoconference with Rhoda Kay Glunk, SCN, as the Western Province report was presented. The mission moments and challenges of Leadership shared by the Province Leadership Teams inspired all to acknowledge that “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” A fruitful day came to a conclusion with a prayer.
