The children at the non-formal education center at Asha Niwas, Gurgaon, had an exciting day when the staff along with Mrs. Caroline, a German visitor, came to visit them. Most of them below five-years-old, were overwhelmed with the many gifts they received. Books, notebooks, colors, pencils, crayons, play things, as well as chocolates and fruits were some of the delights they received. The children were so excited and happy that they performed songs and nursery rhymes. Children of the domestic workers and construction workers are given classes from 8 a.m to 1:00 p.m daily by Sr. Stella Kaiprampatt and the staff at Asha Niwas. Sharing the joy and excitement of all children as well as the staff at the center was an unforgettable event.
