Tess Browne, SCN, (far right in photo) in solidarity with workers, especially immigrant women, was part of an Interfaith and Labor Justice delegation in Boston, Massachusetts. Their campaign is bringing attention to the allegations of sub-optimum working conditions, including verbal and sexual harassment. A very diverse informational picket line was present. Good support was received from the tourists in the area, and some teen boys and girls even joined the protesters. A letter from the group states that they believe all workers have the right to a safe and positive work environment and that workers should not be retaliated against for speaking out.
