Recently, heavy rain and winds met Nazareth Convent in Meghalaya and created damage to the roof of the high school.

Sister Dolsie D’Mello reports, “One section of the building was completely damaged in the wind. One part of the tin roof flew away very far. This tin sheet hit the roof of one of the neighborhood houses and caused extensive damage to the house. It was God’s blessing that no one was hurt. The watchman and the secretary of Nongdiwah village gave a report about the damage of the school roof to the block development office. The officers will come for inspection from the B.D.O office on April 19. Hopefully, they will give some compensation for the repair of the roof.”
