St. Michael’s Religious Education Program accepts every child from Pre-K to 10th grade. 11th and 12th graders are aides in a classroom or helpers. Our program has doubled in numbers these past 2 years going from 350 to 692 children because in these 2 years children of migrant families have been accepted into the REP for the first time. Therefore we have twice the number of volunteer Catechists, Aides, and Helpers.

All volunteers have to have a background check and be fingerprinted. St. Michael thanks our SCN Community for awarding us monies to have 25 volunteers fingerprinted. These past 2 years children of migrant families received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist for the first time at St. Michaels and at our 2 mission churches: San Alfonso and Divino Niño. The children and their families were thrilled.
