Sisters Angela, Janet and Luke left for Washington, Ill., early Wednesday morning to assess the needs in that area after the recent storms. They met with Fr. Steve, the pastor of St. Patrick ’s Church and Amy, and the acting coordinator of the Disaster Relief Services for the parish.

To date, 91 families of the school are homeless.

The SCN disaster team will be working to aid the families of this parish and school. Housing and food accommodations will be provided by the parishioners.

On Friday morning the SCN disaster relief trailer will go to Washington, Ill., voyage along with seven volunteers.

Please keep the people of this city and the volunteers in your prayers.
