Spalding University held a community assembly to usher in the start of a new academic year. In addition to the usual agenda of reports from the president, provost and heads of various departments, employees were recognized for 10 and 20 years of service. Sister Margaret Rodericks was recognized for 20 years of service. She received a hand crafted ceramic bowl from Louisville Stoneware with her name and the number of years of services printed on it. The assembly honored her with a standing ovation.

The citation read as follows:

“Sister Margaret is the International Student Coordinator working in the Financial Aid Department. Sister is a wonderful mentor and friend to all staff, faculty and students. She always makes time to listen. We are fortunate to call Sister Margaret part of our Spalding family! Congratulations Sister Margaret!”
