Today Sister Judy was able to put into action “love of neighbor” by receiving the COVID-19 vaccination at her workplace, Forest Springs of Trilogy. Sister Judy says, “I feel I am helping defeat the coronavirus at work and home. I won’t be a carrier. I will help the world get back to normal. I also am ensuring I won’t catch COVID again.”
“Receiving one of the COVID-19 vaccines ought to be understood as an act of charity toward the other members of our community. In this way, being vaccinated safely against COVID-19 should be considered an act of love of our neighbor and part of our moral responsibility for the common good.” -U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops
Keep up the good ministry at Forest Springs! I’m sure the residents appreciate you.

Good for you, Judy. Hope the line was long and there were many others to get the shot and help protect the world–beginning with Chattanooga. Our day will come.
Good for you! Stay healthy!
Some years ago one of our Sisters in India quoted a Sister of another community who had said, “Where SCNs lead, others will follow.” The world needs leaders at this point. Thank you, Judy.
