Judy Donohue, SCN, made her first profession of vows Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Nazareth, Ky. Watch the video here.

Sister Judy, a native of Lexington, KY, graduated from Lexington Catholic High School and the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. She also earned a master’s degree in pastoral studies from the Lexington Theological Seminary.

Sister Judy, 55, worked at St. Joseph Hospital as a chaplain for 13 years. It was there she met Angela Wethington, SCN, who later invited her to become an SCN associate.

After nine years as an associate, Sister Donohue decided to enter the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. She has four brothers, two sisters, two nephews, one niece and two great-nieces.
