All week we concentrated on the stage in the park. Laying block each day and hoping to have it finished enough to have a concert on Valentines Day. We went into Belize City to pick up Sister Judy at the airport and to attend a Mass commemorating the death of Sister Mary Lynn Fields 20 years ago. Bishop Chris was the presider of the Mass and everyone shared different memories of Sister Mary Lynn.

After returning to Las Flores we continued work on the stage and on Valentines Day the first concert was held!

The stage is 90% done with a back, roof, and paint to be added.

Sunday Sister Brenda left to help on a house in Belize City with Hand in Hand Ministries. Their 200th house!

Sister Paschal had a Sunday afternoon sewing class at the old ministry house and the group is making plans to continue when she leaves. She has truly made an impact on the people here in Las Flores and will forever be remembered by them.

Phil and Carletta are currently volunteering for two months in the village of Las Flores, Belize with the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and have sent this update.
