SCNs  Eula Johnson and Patricia Haley recently enjoyed a program at Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Owensboro, Ky., during a celebration of Black History Month. This particular annual celebration is called A Gospel Explosion. The original Blessed Sacrament School was staffed by Sisters of Charity and founded by a priest of this diocese, Rev. Robert Connor. The community honors the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth still for helping found them in the Faith. Veronica Whilhite is the Parish Life Coordinator, and Rev. John Vaughan is pastor there.
