Sister Susan comments

Susan Gatz, SCN, writes, “Today I had the privilege and joy of receiving the first vows of four novices. Some candidates were part of the choir and others danced leading in the those making vows and their parents. They were welcomed with the Indian ritual of placing a tikka on the forehead. After liturgy family and friends greeted them and later back at the convent they ceremoniously cut the cake. Was a grand celebration and I thank God for calling these wonderful young women to join the SCNs. Pray for them as they prepare to go out on their first mission.”
