SCNA Director Andy Meyer, wife Diane, and Coordinator of the SCNA Office Tammy Mattingly, continue building relationships in Belize City by visiting SCN and SCNA Ministries.

Tuesday evening, Chris Kunze, SCN, visited the SCN Center accompanied by Hand in Hand Ministries volunteers who shared information about the status of their current home-building project. SCNs and Associates listened as the volunteers shared their heart-warming stories and desire to continue this relationship. Some volunteers expressed interest in the SCNA relationship.

Wednesday’s visits included examples of perseverance and strength as we continued our visits with Hand in Hand Ministries and the Inspiration Center. We were again joined by the group of volunteers from Hand in Hand as we listened to Associates Maggie and Abel Vargas and their staff describe their various ministries which extend beyond building houses for the poor to child care, HIV services and others. We continued down a gravel driveway to the Inspiration Center where we were greeted by Bev Hoffman, SCN, and staff. This state of the art rehabilitation center for children was quite impressive. Sister Bev’s creativity and initiative were evident in her treatment area(s) and throughout the facility.

The SCN Center will welcome SCNAs from Dangriga this evening (Friday) and local Associates tomorrow for their monthly gathering. At that time, we will share the history of the SCNA Relationship and learn more about the history of the relationship with SCNAs in Belize.

All the ends of the earth have seen the saving power of God.
