A group of SCNA Lay Mission Volunteers will gather for a blessing in Chattanooga, Tenn., with Marie Celine Osbourn, SCN, before they travel to New Orleans, La. SCNs Luke Boiarski and Anne Magruder will join the group that consists of SCNAs Martha Borders, Cindy Carroll, Karen Frank, Lisa Harrison, Jackie Jackson, Betsy Kammerdiener, Pam Lawson, Jerry McCrary, SCNA candidate Deb Moore and lay mission volunteer, Steve Newton. They will continue to assist the victims of Hurricane Katrina while in the area. This is the first time a mission group is made up entirely of SCNs, Associates and Candidates. They will leave for New Orleans on Sunday, May 1 and return to Chattanooga on Thursday, May 5. Please join in this Blessing and offer your prayerful support.

Sister Celine Osbourn, SCN, is the remaining Sister of Charity of Nazareth in Chattanooga and serves as the Spiritual Care Representative at Memorial North Park. A unique figure and a vital part of Memorial Health Care System, Sister Celine is respected and admired for her servant leadership.
