The SCN Volunteer Program was asked to help with the house and property renovation of Bethany Haven, a local transitional shelter for women and families. They recently purchased the property near their facility to be used for a men’s shelter that is in need of major repairs. Sisters of Charity of Nazareth volunteers along with businesses, churches, and individuals are donating their services to help with the upgrade.
SCN volunteers will be responsible for tearing down a shed, clearing an ally way, upgrading a storage building, front porch and deck paint/repair, and landscaping. The Sisters are very blessed to be working with their local community, getting volunteers back in action, and ultimately helping to provide a temporary home for those in need.

There is such need for alternative types of housing – and bringing it online requires lots of hands and hard work. Well done.
Great project for the community. Do you still need volunteers?
So glad that the Sisters of Charity mission has taken on this wonderful ministry to the homeless.
God bless this project
Wow… what a transformation! What a shared mission! Thank you
