Massachusetts SCNs & SCNAs gathered to celebrate Foundation Day on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Catherine Spalding House in Brockton. Mary Elizabeth Miller gave a wonderful update on SCN news & spent time informally sharing. Shirley Howe led a beautiful prayer expressing gratitude for the charism that has spread throughout the world. A delicious home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner was enjoyed and Martha Walsh’s December birthday was celebrated with a cake. Sisters & Associates brought a variety of new hats, mittens, & gloves for children. A total of 60 sets of winter wear were donated to MA School on Wheels, a program that assists homeless children to stay in school by providing backpacks, school supplies, tutoring, etc.
