Tootsie Gish, a lay associate of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, joined SCNs in ministry in Botswana in June 2006. She serves as director of Boiteko Day Care Center in a small village near Kanye. She recently returned to Louisville for a home visit, her first since serving in Botswana. While in KY, she visited several schools, including St. Augustine School in Lebanon, KY. Students and teachers at St. Augustine School have raised money each year to support children in Botswana.
