Sarah Ferriell, SCN, (above) was among many SCNs and Nazareth employees who enjoyed the Archives open house which displayed materials from Maryland ministries. The display included items from Camp Maria Retreat Center, Camp St. Florence, St. Joseph School, Our Lady’s School, Father Andrew White School, St. John School, Holy Angel/Sacred Heart School and St. Mary Academy. Maryland’s state flag was displayed. School yearbooks, maps, photographs, and newspaper clippings provided a walk back in time. Photos from Camp Maria showed years of laughter and fun, including a water ballet performance in the pool. A program from St. Mary’s Dramatic Club’s 1942 performance of “Garden of the Moon” also featured advertisements for the local butcher, a creamery, a filling station and soda fountain.
