Saumya Shreya, a tenth grade student of Nazareth Academy, Gaya, received an Honesty Award along with other five students from different states of India from the Honesty Foundation on Dec. 30, 2013, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The award carried a citation and a cash prize of Rs. 10,001.

In the words of Saumya, “I received the award amidst a large number of dignitaries, honorable people and my parents. It was a privilege for me to have had an opportunity to express what I felt at that time. I thanked my school, USM (Universal Solidarity Movement, Indore) community and my family members. Almost every newspaper of Indore had the photos of the award recipients.”

The Honesty Foundation was founded by Bernardo D’Souza and his family with the intention of recognizing and awarding every act of honesty in all walks of life.

The Sisters congratulate Saumya Shreya on her remarkable accomplishment.
