The parking lot at Nazareth Home in Louisville, Kentucky, was alive with activity on Sunday, March 4, as Sisters tried out driving and riding in electric vehicles (EVs). Nine EV owners from Evolve KY very generously shared their vehicles with the Sisters for the afternoon. Included were EVs such as the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Ford Focus, Tesla, and Mitsubishi.

A brief explanation of the need for EVs and a question and answer session generated a lot of interest. With great enthusiasm, Sisters tested the cars for ease of entry and were very much impressed with all of the safety features. “Now we need the first brave SCN to step up and be willing to drive one,” says Sister Theresa Knabel.
