Official Rules

The Super Raffle drawing will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. on the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Motherhouse Campus, Nazareth, KY 40048.

The Super Raffle prizes are: 1st prize: $20,000, 2nd prize: $5,000, 3rd prize: $1,000.

More than one person may share in the raffle ticket purchase. The prize will be distributed to the name(s) as they appear on the raffle ticket stub.

A maximum of 3,000 Super Raffle tickets will be sold.

Raffle ticket stubs cannot be sent through the U.S. mail. If purchaser supplies an email address, we will email the raffle ticket stub(s) number(s) and/or the purchaser can pick-up the raffle ticket stub(s) at the OMA office during normal business hours or on the day of the Super Raffle drawing.

Participants in the Super Raffle must be at least 18 years of age.

All Super Raffle ticket requests, with payment, must be received by the drawing date, or prior to the sale of 3,000 tickets, whichever comes sooner, to be eligible for the drawing. Each raffle ticket is a separate and equal chance to win the prizes.

Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by telephone, mail, and/or by email.

Proceeds of the Super Raffle will go to support the SCN missions and ministries in the United States, and around the world in Belize, Botswana, India and Nepal. The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth (Nazareth Literary and Benevolent Institution) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization registered with the Secretary of State of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Charitable Gaming License Number is ORG0001740.

Winners are responsible for paying all applicable taxes on the winnings. (Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, per IRS regulations, will withhold 25% from the winnings greater than $5,000 prior to the release of the cash prize winnings. At the end of the calendar year, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth will file a form W-2G with the IRS to report the value of the prizes won and the taxes already paid by the winner(s). A copy of the W-2G will also be mailed to the winner(s) for their records.)
