On a beautiful June morning, over 300 hundred participants gathered at the Motherhouse in Nazareth, Kentucky, to “Run with a Mission” for the inaugural Nazareth 5K.
After careful planning and coordination under the guidance of race directors, Sister Chris Kunze and Sister Lisa Polega, the event was a great success in bringing new faces and old friends together to learn more about the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. See more photos here. View the results from the race here.
Nazareth 5K – Run with a Mission is an event to support the ministries of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in the United States, India, Nepal, Belize, and Botswana. As racers ran or walked past photos along the race course, visited the mission booth, and learned about volunteer opportunities, they learned how the race supports the Sisters as they work to address pressing needs in the world.
Thank you to these sponsors for helping make this race a reality.
