On Friday April 8, 2017, LIFE took it’s seniors on a road trip to Old Belize Museum. A total of about 70 loaded the bus and van. The seniors had time to go down memory lane as they walked through and shared stories of the scenes of what Belize used to look like back in the days. After the museum, all loaded the bus bound for the BTL Park where the seniors enjoyed an afternoon of games, food, prizes, raffles and the beautiful Caribbean sea. They all enjoyed it and said they would have something to talk about for while.
LIFE would like to thank it’s staff Shurjena Flowers, Lynette Middelton, Lyndon Gentle, Gloria Codd, UB interns Arely and Osiris, CHWs Olga Gordon Jeni Sweetness Molina, Stephanie Lamb, Natalie Reyes, Rain, Keisha and Shurhena. A big thank you goes out to Francisco Woods for the free tour and use of the museum, to City Council for the use of their bus, BTL Park, and Bowen and Bowen for the free use of their tent. This day would not have been possible without all of them.
