Rebecca Rodenbaugh, SCN, 100, a native of Tutwiler, MS, died at Nazareth Home, on Monday, Monday, May 15, 2017. Sister had been a professed Sister of Charity of Nazareth for 79 years.
Sister Rebecca served as a grade school teacher in Memphis, TN and in Louisville at St. Cecilia and Sacred Heart School. She taught home economics at high schools in Arkansas, Massachusetts, Ohio, Tennessee, and at Presentation Academy in Louisville. From 1986-1998, Sister Rebecca served in social services as the director of the Christian Center in Lebanon, VA.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and by her religious community.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 17, at 10:50 a.m. at St. Vincent Church, Nazareth, followed by the burial of ashes in Nazareth Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, from 10:00-10:30 a.m. in St. Vincent Church at Nazareth.

Sr. Rebecca, I love you and I was selfish for not visiting before you left. You were so kind to me and mothered me better than my own. Thank you for being my friend and protector for most of my life. I will miss hearing your voice and seeing your beautiful face.
