Nepali children’s clubs pledge to promote child rights
Representatives of 10 child clubs were excited to spend their holiday quite productively. They spent three days at Navjyoti Center in the Surkhet District of Nepal discussing children’s rights, child abuse, child trafficking, and leadership. They also shared real stories from their own life experience where the clubs rescued children from trafficking and child abuse through the help of police. They have become aware of the growing social problems in their society and are keen to put an end to them. They also learned to share their own skills and resources with others. Sisters now hope that their enthusiasm may take them far into the future.
