On a beautiful spring day, flutist Maggie Hettinger visited the Nazareth campus to lift the spirits of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth with her renditions of classical music. In the only safe way to hold such a concert during the COVID019 pandemic, it was held outside of the windows of the Sisters. A window concert! “I believe all 53 species we have on campus were singing this morning,” said Sister Barabar Flores.

Sister Kelly O’Mahony captured a sample of the sights and sounds of this special moment to share with us all.

Sister Barabara summed it up with these comments, “It was life-giving. What a paradox. There is pain and there is hope. The wonder and marvel of God’s creation is also alive.”
