Navjyoti School Dharan first alumni gathering

Navjyoti School, Dharan, conducted the first alumni gathering on March 7. There were 100 former students for the gathering. Sister Sunita Vayalipara, the chairperson of the committee and the former principal of the school welcomed the gathering. They told the students that they should feel that it is a home coming experience. After the short prayer the students were put in the groups to discuss how they can make the alumni effective in the future. The groups came up with many valuable suggestions for the school and the association. Sister Elizabeth Lobo, the former principal of the school, gave some reflections to contribute to the society, especially the under privileged of the society. “They need to have clear goals and the right motives in life to make smooth transitions in life,” she said. A committee was formed with 12 students for future planning. There was great excitement, joy and laughter. It was a great event for all. See more photos.
