Benedictine Sisters closed local monastery with their numbers came down to about a dozen. A local real estate developer bought the place and intended to turn it into high price condos. Before he could do that, the immigration crisis flooded Tucson, Arizona. He has temporarily given this place over to church groups working on trying to help immigrants. He is also footing $10,000 per month in utility bills. He has a special place in Heaven.
