Mobile health clinic helps village receive care

Jyoti Thattaparampil, SCN, and her team loaded the mobile health clinic vehicle with medicines, plastic tables and stools then made the two-hour drive to Sahare. One by one, men and women — old and young — and children kept coming until late in the afternoon for the Sister’s health clinic at a school campus in the small Nepali village. With the help of a health chart, Sister Jyoti and her assistant Uma explained to people how to prevent typhoid which is a common disease during the monsoon.
