St. Vincent de Paul School, Newport News VA 1954-55. Eighth Grade. She was a wonderful role model. We all loved her. A bit of a rebel in the kindest way. I have thought about her many times over the years. Sister Mary Roberta rest in the Eternal Peace of God our Father.
Thank you for having the funeral available on the internet. Ruth was my aunt( Jim is my brother) I truly wanted to go the funeral. I will miss her deeply.
One of my greatest pleasures was to see Sister Mary Pauletta when I visited Nazareth for the reunion held for those of us who left the Community and pursued other paths. Sister was my French teacher, role model and mentor when I attended Nazareth High School in South Boston, MA many years ago. She was one of the kindest, most supportive and loving teachers I have ever known. My only regret is that I didn’t get back to Nazareth to see her one more time. Sister was a shining example to me of what a Sister of Charity of Nazareth truly is. May she rest in peace.
