Little Graduates of St. Mary’s Pre–School in Lobatse, Botswana

At St. Mary’s in Botswana, SCNs Bibiana Kindo and Olive Pinto from India, received thanks and appreciation for their sacrifice and commitment in providing a solid foundation in the early formative years of children.

The long awaited day had finally arrived. Nov. 15, 2014 was indeed a very special day for the 26 five-year-olds, who completed their three years of pre–school education at St. Mary’s in Botswana. Graduation Day is the highlight of each year, and the day the children, staff and parents eagerly look forward to at the end of each year.

More than 300 hundred parents, guardians, and invited guests were present for the special occasion. The chief guest was Mrs. Kgosikwena, Principal of the neighboring primary school.

Mrs. Kgosikwena spoke highly of the school, the outstanding effort of the staff, cooperation of the parents/guardians, and the appreciation for the Sisters for their sacrifice and commitment in providing a solid foundation in the early formative years of children who are the future of Botswana and may be great leaders in the years to come.

The program presented by the three to five-year-old children was outstanding, beginning from the National Anthem until the graduates received their certificates. This day will be a memorable day for the students and all in attendance.
