From Sister Sangeeta

Hello to you from the beaches of the country of Kenya! Part of the coast is so lush with coconut palms and forest area while the other side is so arid and dry with water scarcity.

The last leg of our exploration was in the diocese of Malindi by the Indian Ocean. We are leaving this place in half an hour.

This morning we had a very good visit with the Bishop who shared with us the many needs in his diocese especially in the area of empowerment of women, children, primary education, primary health and the issues related to the youth. It is a new diocese which has the tourists because of the ocean and on the other side, the most impoverished local people as well.

We visited a few missions bishop had arranged for us to see. Below are some of the pictures.

This concludes our Exploration per se. We have two days to process all the information and begin drafting the report before we part our ways to Botswana and the U.S. on Wednesday night.
