Junior Red Cross Camp at St. Vincent Matriculation School Trichy

Jan. 9—11, 2014, was the Junior Red Cross (JRC) camp for the High School students from 31 schools in Trichy District. 400 students and staff had training on safety measures and leadership skills. The students received instruction which will be useful for the students in their daily lives. Amrita Manjoly, SCN, the principal of St. Vincent Matriculation School was very gracious in welcoming the students, staff, as well as the officials who came at various times to be present for the camp. St. Vincent students too were part of this camp.

“It was an honor for our school to host this program,” said Sisters Amrita. She continues, “they thoroughly enjoyed their stay here. Everyone was very happy with the hospitality offered to the participants. They thanked the School Management for providing all the facilities.”
