Patna Province celebrated the golden jubilee of SCNs Agnes Tudu, Cassilda Castell, Mercy Thundathil, Nirmala Mulackal and Roselyn Karakattu and the silver jubilee of SCNs Bibiana Kindo, Clementia Xalxo, Leena Padam, Meera Bilung, and Tessy Varghese in Mokama on Oct. 7, 2017. The Eucharist began at 10:30 a.m. with a beautiful entrance dance by the candidates. Anila Monippallikalayil, SCN welcomed the jubilarians, the main celebrant, Most Reverend Archbishop William D’Souza, SJ, eight other priests, SCNAs, Sisters, novices and the candidates. In his homily, the Archbishop highlighted the fifty and twenty-five years of faithfulness in union with Jesus of the jubilarians to have become a blessing to God and others. He further said that we are called to live a communitarian life with Jesus and that relatedness with our Master we will be able to radiate joy in our world.

After the Mass, the jubilarians took a photo with the priests and the PLT. They were garlanded and greeted in the chapel before processing to the dining room for the cutting of jubilee cake with the beatings of the drum and dance. After lunch, there was a short, delightful cultural program by the novices, candidates and various local community Sisters. During the program, the PLT felicitated the jubilarians and they, in turn, thanked all those who made their day a memorable one.
