International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth marked the occasion in a variety of ways.

Happy IWD — virtually, and through memory: We celebrate wherever however we can today. We celebrate with memory and resolve to keep on keeping on. Again this year, Covid-19 will prevent us from marching, or holding rallies but we will not be moved. I share a memory with you. 2019 — IWD celebration, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
