Nazareth Hospital, Mokama completed 70 years of its service to the humanity in the land of Bihar, India on July 19, 2018. Hospital Foundation Day was celebrated with a meaningful liturgy followed by dinner. The whole campus was present for this beautiful event to thank the Almighty God for the numerable blessings during the past years.

During the Eucharistic celebration, Nazareth hospital family very fondly remembered our pioneers, benefactors and all those who have shared their selfless love and compassion with the people of Mokama and the surrounding area.

In the last couple of years, the hospital went through a transition and took a different direction in the care of the sick and suffering. At present, the hospital reaches out to persons affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, tuberculosis and senior citizens, chronically ill and bedridden patients at their homes through various outreach programs.

The hospital also has a well set up naturopathy department with all modern facilities to prevent disease and promote wellness.

Mokama Nazareth Hospital Society is collaborating with the Social welfare Department of the Bihar government and opened a Children’s Home for girls.
